Katrina was twelve years old when she decided to become a lawyer and it was one of the best decisions she had ever made. She was born and raised in Midland, Michigan and graduated with honors from Central Michigan University in 1999. After studying law in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio, Katrina chose Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis to study law. His intention was to work in corporate law. “One life has no meaning except for its impact on other lives.” – Jackie Robinson After graduation, Katrina made Indiana her home and continues her work at Hensley Legal Group as a senior attorney and disability advocate. She lives in Noblesville with her beloved husband and dogs, a Manchester Terrier and a Yorkiepoo. The consortium also includes Hansjörg Wyss, founder of the Wyss Foundation, and Mark Walter, co-founder and CEO of Guggenheim Partners. During her first week at law school, she joined Hensley Legal Group, PC as a part-time law clerk to gain experience. There, she was exposed to many different areas of law that she did not expect.

She realized how much she enjoyed working with consumers and helping them solve problems that affect their daily lives. She realized that moving to corporate law would deprive her of the personal relationships she had established with clients and the rest of the Hensley Legal Group, PC team.
